Hate to say it, phantom, but a small car weighs more than 2000 lbs. A heavily armored van carrying multiple drones and a turret mounted gun and increased armor will weigh at least a couple tons.

If they were realistic dreams, sure.

I checked the weight of an average modern van (a ford windstar) and it checked out at 2,465 lbs. Now, we can assume that the materials used to build cars in a cyberpunk setting like SR will be considerably reduced due to the use of fewer heavy metal components ( it also reduces the cost of the maker - its why use see cars using fiberglass and plastic today rather than the wood and steel that older models were made of). So, it is plausible that the van of the future could be less than 2,000 lbs. I would say around 1,500 would be reasonable. However, with the armor and other materials.... well, it's up to Jimbo, because I could see it going either way.

By the way, what kind of freighter is this? Zeppelin? Or is it an airplane of some kind?

i'm a bit off on how i'm going to take out the freighter, wait a minute A boat? why don't we land on the boat, raid it, and take it and the supplies off of it to the landing zone?

Because we're in a plane, that isn't VTOL or Amphibious, and our little skytrain setup is a system of gliders. Once we're on the freighter, we're stuck there. And there's no telling who all might be on the freighter.

Ok. I'm just wanting to check and see that I've got a handle on the situation. So Shadow is going to wait around with Taviro. Jotunn and Hastiin (along with Motoko on his shoulder) are heading up to the gliders now. Both Motoko and Taviro are attempting to hack the freighter in their own ways. Have I forgotten anyone?

Sorry Mirikon, i have a habit of being reckless, i was waying the risks vs. rewards of the idea. A small city full of supplies and just about anything else we could ever possibly nead, not to mention it would be an excellent base of operations. Vs. having to infiltrate and probably kill every single bad guy on the damn boat since they obviously have no problem trying to kill us. Reckless Phantom says go for it, Phantom who actually looks at his characters stats and the situation says 'just blow the damn thing up.'

Shadow is moving back to the gliders now, so I'm good.

i'm in, although trying to decide what to do with a maniac that is trying to wield a missile launcher against us while i control his mind.
