Right so I'll try getting a post up tonight, worst case should have lots of time tomorrow. Been a very hard past few days.

Understand that. I've been oncall since last Tuesday. Yet it's been surprisingly slow. Which is out of the ordinary.

I'm still here. Work was hard this week. I'll have something up for each game tonight, hopefully.

Rough week since Sunday. It looks like head lice was going around at school and lucky us, our girls all four of them ended up with it. It's terrible. The cleaning, washing, combing etc. sucks. Tonight is a possible post night.

Perception rolls:

Perception Darkon Visual: Int5+perception2= 7d Spirit F7(astral) Int7+Perception7=14d (7d6. hits(5)=4, 14d6. hits(5)=3) Argh... disregard Darkons roll. Forgot the penalty for sustained spells.

Perception Darkon visual Int5+perception2-sustained spells4=3d (3d6. hits(5)=0) A critical glitch. Ok.. the proper roll is... much worse. I'll spend one edge to add the edge dice. Would that reduce the overall roll from critical glitch down to glitch? Or even completely undo the glitch?

Spending edge to add edge dice to previous perception roll. Edge4 (4d6. hits(5)=2)

Anyway, the spirit does have a few hits on his own and will tell Darkon.

I think you would be far better off spending the edge to reroll all your dice instead of just rolling your edge.

Pretty sure that's a thing, spending a point of edge to reroll any dice that didn't 'hit'. I'd have to double check the rules but I'd swear it was.

YOu may spend a point of edge to reroll all dice that did not score a hit. At this point this is a far better use of your edge.

Also to everyone. Right now I don't so much need a post as I just need your perception rolls. So it's fine if you don't have time to post right now. Just pop a perception roll in here in the meantime.

I can also, after rolling, spend edge to roll just edge dice. rule of six applies to only them. And as I, with the penalty of sustaining two spells, have only three dice in the original roll, the edge of four dice actually makes more sense than rerolling three dice.

Actually. I had one six in there and didn't reroll it.

Also far as I know a glitch is calculated only after you account for all dice rolled (including edge if added). So that would mean the glitch is countered by the use of edge. However by the same token you only added the edge after rolling first so that may mean the glitch still stands. Lemmie see what my googlefu comes up with.

Well quick search doesn't turn up anything either way so in this case I'm just going to go with it being in the player's favour, mostly because a critical glitch at this juncture may be a very bad thing indeed.

Just as a note for the future folks. You MUST put an entry under note for what the roll is for or it will not be counted.

It's also generally a good idea to put in what campaign it's for, even if it's abbreviated such as TTLS

Dropped you a PM Kesslan. Like I said there I have had a problem with Invisible Castle. I've made two accounts, the second because I could not get the first to work, and I can't access either. When I request a password change I don't get the email. Go figure.

Well that one's slightly less of an issue. Just be sure to put in notes what you are rolling for or something along those lines.

Question for Darkon.

Is Darkon talking to Mississippi who is being carried by Sha or is he talking to Scarlet who is with him. Because it looks like he is speaking out loud and not using the sub-vocal mic with his comm. Is that right? If that's the case the guy on the street might hear him.

Ah... good question. I forgot to put it in colour. Just a moment please. ... And done. He did indeed ask Mississippi. Though, I doubt the guy on the street would have noticed a quiet conversation some 30 or so meters away. Or is the hall that small?

It's not that it's that small but that you are that near the sidewalk basically. You can easily assume there is a small parking lot around the warehouse but it's fairly close to the street and the building itself isn't all that high all things considered as forklifts only reach so high up.
