Fixer's Delight

Khyber moves to the back of the van and grabs the bag containing his Alpha and its spare clips. He brings it up to sit next to his seat, leaving the Alpha sitting across his lap for easy access, but out of view of casual inspection. Just in case. You didn't live that long as a Runner without a healthy dose of caution. Which his old CO would call 'paranoia'. But it wasn't paranoia if they might really be out to get you, right?

Khyber looked back and spared a glance for Shasta and Havoc. He smiled at them, then turned his attention back outside the van.

With his hand on the skinlinked gun's side, he mentally switched the Alpha to Semi-Automatic mode, and engaged the smartlink, slaving the gun to his internal commlink. The gun's camera would provide him better visual acuity when overlayed onto his AR. If he needed to use it at all.

Nodding to Slick Tony, he disengages the van's rear door lock, and the door opens for Tony and Drake to step out, and allow the buyers access to the Merchandise. Giving quick Commnands, Khyber stations his Ferrets on the van's walls pointing out the door the gecko tips on their tires allowing them a firm grip even sideways. He keeps his Dragonflies on standby, but sends one out surreptitiously to keep an eye on things with its Ultrasound sensor.

Drake smirks and steps out of the van thinking to himself show time gals and ghouls.He was well armed if things were to go south early if it were to happen his duster blowing from side to side with the slight breeze that has been blowing almost all day. He glances over at Khyber and nods he then begins to walk slowly towards the people they came to meet with ST in tow.

Shasta notices with some degree of amusement the looks on the faces of her fellows. Even more amusing, of course, was that for the most part, their Astral signatures matched their physical appearances. Drake was, in fact, darkly amused about something. Khyber too was deeply focused, and intent on his objective. Metahumans were always funny about that.

Shasta left the Commlink in the front of the car, between the two seats, where it would be available to her when she later needed it, presumably. She allowed her physical form to vanish, leaving her entirely in the Astral. She immediately passed through the walls of the van and took a close look at the group of "unsavory characters" congregating outside.
Assensing tests: First roll for the Gang = 2, Second roll for the leader = 1.
Shasta got a good look at the gang, getting a feel for their "mod mind", and what it was that they collectively had in mind. Well, what they were "feeling" that they had in mind. More or less. When she turned her attention to the leader, Shasta got an idea. This likely caused her to be distracted while she was viewing the leader, but she didn't even notice if that was the case or not.
Disguise Test: 2 hits.
Shasta realized that she could essentially make herself mobile but still invisible in the material world. It wouldn't even likely show up in the Astral that she was doing that, since it would be so hard to notice that she was occupying the same space as something that wasn't there in the physical world. Shasta decided to materialize herself in the Physical world as a very small piece of clean glass. In order to increase her chances of not being noticed (because being see-through wasn't enough...) Shasta put Concealment on herself. That way she could keep an eye on the physical world just as easily as she did in the Astral!
Stealth test: 1 hit OOC: I am not sure what bonuses to add to that for already being nearly invisible... Ghost, you can figure that part out...
Shasta mentally grinned to herself, enjoying the idea of being basically invisible, without even needing a spell!
Perception Test: 2 hits
With her new form, Shasta peered around, trying to figure out what other potential threats might be hanging around. She knew that she would be only mildly useful, at best, in a fight, and that she would be a much better asset to the team by helping to prevent a fight from happening. Or, by effecting the atmosphere to help the fight be as one-sided as possible. She wouldn't be a whole lot of use to the group holding a pistol!

Havoc just enjoys the show quietly. As the van stops and the rear doors are opened he slids out of the van and takes a position at the side, watching the gangers and his comrades working out the deal. He looks around carefully, taking a close look at the people and the area.

Alleyway Deal:

“YO! S.T.!” The leader waves, his head tilting to the side. He moves over to meet Slick Tony in the middle of the cross alleyway. He stops short of Drake, staring at the runner. Moving forward somewhat more cautiously, giving the soldier a wide birth he comments: “Plucky, I like that,” blowing Drake a kiss as he inches past him. Then without skipping a beat he approaches Tony. He lets his shades inch down his nose, peering over the tops of them and revealing silver cyber eyes. “STeeee you don’t trust me? You got theses...” He leans to the side to look in the van. “These professionals to come with you. Tooony We got a deal don’t we my maan...” He continues, looking to Drake then back to Tony. He pauses for a moment to push his sun glasses back up the bridge of his nose with his right index finger. “We doing business or you gonna hide behind your men?” He seems sure of himself if nothing else.
So far, incredibly, Tony has kept entirely silent, and you can’t for the life of you figure why. Tony allows the silence to linger for a moment longer before, finally, responding. With his right arm he motions Drake back giving him a ”Don’t frag this up for me.” look. Then he steps up to the plate.
“These guys? Oh we go way back. I trust ‘em with my life.” Tony says, smiling. His eyes take on a steeled look, almost, but not quite, like he was glaring at the Leader. Tony thrusts a hand out, probably looking for a shake. “Si-low” He says. “If you got the Nuyin from Fat Lue? We got a deal. Yeah!” He more asks then says...
Si-low smiles. “You know it Jack.” He responds, pulling a Certified cred stick his pocket. He holds it up like a starting pistol, just as Tony is reaches out to grab it. Tony frowns. “Of course,” he says. “I know how this works this ain't my first rodeo you know A!” Si-low smiles leaving his hand up... Tony reaches for his lapel and all the gangers in the alley get up, looking visibly concerned. As if S.T. did something wrong. “A!” he says and Si-low holds up his left hand. The gangers take at ease positions. They have been to this ally before hell they have all the good vantage points locked down.
ST speaks into his COM and all the teams COM’s beep “Bring one of the crates to me” he says and he waits to see them do so.

(OOC: The crates are plastic and pretty big they require at minimum two people of strength 2 or more to carry any two will do i guess thanks for everyone's patients Shout out to Gala For making sense out of nonsense lata)

Shasta kept a close eye on the situation. She knew that this was the "interesting" part, where things, in Metahuman parlance: "Either happened, or they didn't." - I think I got that right... She thought to herself, watching the Gang Leader approach Slick Tony. Shasta was quickly coming to the impression that this may actually have been Slick Tony's first major deal. Which would be a problem, except that everyone here seemed to be more or less familiar with him. Perhaps he had been a, - What do they call it? Oh, right, a "Second." She thought to herself. Perhaps he had been a "Second" in past deals with this gang, and they were used to him.
Shasta contained her humor at the Gang Leader's response to Drake, watching him inch around the big guy, trying to get a face-to-face with Tony. Tony handled the absurdity quite well. - This may be his first time in charge. Or, "wearing the pants", as Metahumans like to say, but he clearly knows how to handle himself. Shasta thought, considering Tony's aura and coming to a satisfied understanding of his comfort level of the situation.

As the deal progressed, Shasta wandered about in the physical, waiting for interesting things to happen. The only thing that came remotely close was when the whole group quickly stood up and it looked like Shasta was going to get a chance to play around with people a bit. She was both relieved and disappointed when it didn't happen. Then, since she was close enough to hear him say it, Shasta overheard Slick Tony speaking to himself.

He had said, probably hoping someone in the group would hear him and respond. Shasta figured that since he was talking to himself, only her and Drake might have had a chance to hear him. She turned toward the truck, targeting one of the Crates inside the van with her Psychokinesis power, and lifted it up, carrying it out and over to Slick Tony.
Psychokinesis Check: Magic + Willpower (instead of straight Strength check) 2 hits.
She had a little trouble, at first, getting the crate moving. It was heavy. And there was that old dead guy who once said that "Objects at rest want to stay at rest." Whatever that means. Once she got it out of the Van, of course, she lifted it up high enough to easily clear Drake's head, before easing it down in front of Slick Tony. She figured that holding it a few feet above the ground so that the top of the case would be at chest level for Slick Tony and the Gang Leader would be the most convenient place for the Crate to be.

Khyber just watches, preparing to bring up his Ares Alpha if necessary, and order his drones to attack if necessary. Unsure how this will play out, he's a little bit worried that the buyers don't seem too copacetic with Slick Tony's arrangements. And I know from experience that an uneasy ganger is a stupid ganger, and therefore a dangerous ganger.

Havoc was too far away to really understand what was said regarding the deal. He just stood there, more eyeing the people arround, not the leaders in the middle.
At the moment of tention, Havoc just switched his view to the (from his point of view) toughest looking guy and sensed the aure of mana around him gathering force to unleash it upon the ganger, if necessary. But this moment only lasted 1-2 seconds and as the gangers switched their pose to a relaxing one Havoc calmed down and released the forces he gathered into nothingness.
The next moment his jaw dropped a little as a crate in the car started moving and levitated towards the leaders, rolling so much that he needed to step back from the van to prevent the crate from hitting him. He switched his view to the astral, seeing the crate beeing moved by some kind of spell and, dropping his jaw even more, realizes that the power to move it stems from the little peace of glass, laying down there on the floor. He realized that it is this ghost again and his jaw flips back into normal position and with a slight grin he watches the crate rolling toward the leaders, muttering This crazy bitch.. under his breath.

[OOC: Omitted aura assensing and stuff, as it doesn't really matter here, except Gala doesn't want Havoc to realize what she is doing]

The create barley makes it to where it was going threatening to tip over and spill its contents on more then one occasion finely it settles loudly to the ground. slamming and and once again tipping but not over...

The gangers frantically yell to each other “ Mage!” said one. They got a Mage! Said another They all Went back into alert status holding up thier guns on Slick Tony and Drake and some even pointing at the Van. They looked around for the source of the magic but they kept turning up empty! “Smoke’em Si-low We got your back” the angry and scared gangers Snarled...

Si-low brandishes a fire arm from what seems like no where. And points it at Slick Tony's forehead “You brought a Mage?” Si-low says in a low voice “Bring’em out show us your mage cant trust’em if I cant see’em” Slick Tony dose not even flinch when the Gun is pointed to his head “OH! For crying out loud...” He yells "Which one of you did it!" and turns away from the gun at his head, putting a little distance between him and the fire arm... “Screw it!” Si-low says and he takes a shot at Tony(which misses) before giving the signal to open fire. And then ducking for cover

Shasta, satisfied, watches the crate work it's way over toward Slick Tony. She still needed quite a bit of practice on the Physical world, and working with this crate was turning out to be quite decent practice at the moment. Like working with the coffee cup earlier had been. Although, this one was somewhat more difficult. Strangely, in the physical world, there was a concept of "mass", where the relative size and density of an object seemed to affect the difficulty of tampering with it; including moving it.
When she did, finally, manage to settle the crate down in front of Slick Tony, Shasta released her Psychokinesis from the crate, allowing it to settle onto the ground. Since she was also in the physical world at the time, she noticed that she didn't, actually, manage to settle the crate to the ground. - I am going to have to work on that... She thought to herself, noting finally that the gangers around the group had reacted poorly to her being the one who moved the crate. - Huh, that's strange. Why would it bother them who it is who carry's the crate over to Slick Tony? Shasta asked herself, while trying to decide how she would interact with this hightened situation. The easy solution, of course, was to grab ahold of the gun pointing at Slick Tony's head. She could figure out what else to do after that.

Drake smirks seeing is how things are about to get a little ugly. He draws his Ares Predator,he was always ready for a gun fight if one were to happen.


Initative 11 (8+3)

Shasta didn't waste any time with her reaction. Shasta was already looking around, paying attention to what was happening the very moment that her Psychokinesis released the crate, and settled it down in front of Slick Tony. Noticing that the Gang Leader, as well as the gangers, had reacted somewhat negatively to her being the one to grab the crate - And who cares who it is that brings it over to Slick Tony? What difference does that actually make? She says to herself, trying to decide how to help keep her team alive in this uncomfortable area.
Shasta's decision doesn't take long to form, since she notices that the Gang Leader had a gun pointed directly at Slick Tony's head. She figured that this would be an unfortunate start to the fight, and reached out with her power to grab a hold of the gun.

Psychokinesis test: 4 hits

Shasta takes a firm grasp on the pistol, pulling the aim wide of Slick Tony's head. Shasta was surprised to note that the gun actually went off, creating a loud noise and some lights, as the bullet missed it's target. - Good thing I grabbed it when I did! Shasta thought to herself, picturing the other outcome which seemed almost inevitable. Shasta was more pleased with this outcome.

Khyber, reacting quickly (Initiative 10 + 2 hits = 12), aims his Ares Alpha out the door and takes a shot at the leader.

Slick Tony Dives for Cover Thanking all of Creation that he was able to get out of the way. Unaware of Shasta's magic Spell at the time. Si low does the same, but not before, Khyber takes a shot at him. And not mysteriously but unexpectedly his gun flies out of his hand "drek!" He Screams as his arm pulls back on him, in the middle of his full defensive maneuver... This jerking movement gives Khyber all the time he needs to plant one on him "AAAGGGHHH! drek!" He screams and he Releases the gun, and hides behind a nearby dumpster holding his side...!

(OOC: Good job Guys, and lets keep it moving Drake your up! throw those bones i suggest finding cover as your in the open right now and they go next! )

The Gangers take aim and fire at the runners in middle of the ally (Drake and Slick Tony) and they fire one the Van...!

Results

(Drake two doges and resists if necessary, ST Dodges his (yaaay!), the Van gets pelted!! but is none the worse for ware).

The Violence ensues both leaders are shot at and the both duck and dodge dipping for cover but only one is hit Si-low laughs as his pain editor kicks in pumping drugs into his system (wait that might be the wrong tech did not write it down just says pain resistance)

As the gangers start shooting Havoc just drops down and tries to get beneath the van for cover.

He looks arround at the legs arround him, trying to identify the nearest Thugs and searching for a spot where he could hit more than one with an area spell.

The remaining Go gang guys take there shots at Drake (I don't believe this man my dice always fall of the table no matter how little the pool is anyway) One shot goes wild and the other heads for Drake (lol Who if he survives takes cover not much of a move along but it was not much of a roll for either of the baddies... Drake you need at least two success to avoid being hit that's it.)

They start yelling out stuff in Chines and it dose not sound good for the team as they try to organize themselves into a unit... Si-low is the loudest from behind his dumpster he shouts!!!!
