The current in game time is about 5:30pm in the afternoon almost 6. Correction its about 8:00-8:30 in the evening.

If you don't mind my input, that probably is not the best idea right now. Initiative rolls will significantly slow down the game progression, both in-game, and out of game. If that is what you want, then proceed. But as far as my impression of your intentions goes, I don't believe that your actually interested in slowing the game down. Quite the contrary.
Also, by doing that, you will be discouraging the post rate that you have been enjoying over the past week or so.

So, let us all know what you want to do...

If this is for the run the initiative I always lock in my Improved Reflexes spell into the sustaining focus so the roll for casting is first then the second one will be drain fallowed by the initiative roll.

Sorcery 6 dice + Magic 9 dice = 15 dice

Will 5 + Logic 5 = 10
