"Only ram it if you think the truck can make it through. Last thing we need is to trash the truck or shred the tires and get stuck here." Kesslan cautioned over the comlink in response to Alexa's question. "Otherwise we'd best pop it open quick and careful in case there's an ambush on the other side." he didn't much care to be here longer than absolutely necessary. If this place really was Aztechnology, he knew full well Aztec had a mean streak a thousand miles wide and was almost as dangerous to deal with as a dragon. In the grand scheme of things it was perhaps only a step or two away to the average runner.

"I agree with Kesslan. We don't want to damage the car. I'll take a quick peek to the other side." She slipped out of her body, slumping against Ashe once more, floating towards and then through the front gate, taking a quick look around for humanoid auras, then sinking back into her body again, sitting up with a gasp.

"Ok folks... I've seen..."

"Ok" LT said over the link, and he braced himself for the impact just in case... LT felt like he was on to something trouble is he did not know what... He had felt a surge of strength and with that ability... He had Let go sort of his emotions allowing them when he touched rage to run rampant on the lock, and something marvelous had happened... He'd herd of adepts that could increase strength and other attributes at a moments noticed Job himself admitted to boosting his physical prowess when in the tricks not necessarily strength he said but the old spy did have an amazing will to boot... He wondered what this was was his Adept powers growing on there own he doubted it... those types of boosts were costly, and took sometime to focus to work out... plus learning it in the first place he doubted it was that it was something, something else...

Alexia, having goosed the engine to it's limited out-put capacity, immediately slammed her feet down on the breaks. Yes, both feet. She had proven herself a capable driver, but she was still a slight woman, at best, and she needed her full weight to effectively bring the large truck to a stop quickly enough to avoid the collision. She did avoid the collision. But probably only by a hair.

Specter
Specter slipped from her body, easing her way through the physical projections of objects on the astral. The truck was first, and since it's location was so transient, it was easy to pass through. Next came the warehouse door which, like the truck was easier to pass through than the wall would have been. It was entirely opaque, of course, but easy enough to pass through.
On the other side, Specter saw probably what she expected to see: nothing. Or at least, nothing of note. There wasn't a single person, living, dead, or otherwise outside the door of the warehouse. There was no sign of an ambush; or at least there was no obvious sign. There was nothing there to give Specter the impression that there was anything amiss.
"Anything amiss?" The thought tickled something in the back of Specter's mind. Memory check

"Ok folks... I've seen not a single living thing." She steadied herself. "And the guard Kesslan downed is gone too. We should be careful. Ramming the door might still be a bad idea though." She explained quickly. "Maybe Kesslan and LT can secure the door while we open it and get through."

"You fear when someone is there, and when no one is there. Is there nothing you do not fear? We stay here, we are sitting ducks!"

Muttering under his breath about 'gutless Yanks', Seig climbed out of the truck and ran over to take a look at the bay door controls.

His companions apparently forgot that there had been no reason to hack their way into the warehouse; why should there be cause to hack out?

He peered at the controls in an attempt to discern how to open the door so they could escape. For they also had their own abandoned truck to recover before heading back to the plane.

Despite his earlier comments, Seig was actually disappointed at the lack of security measures on the door controls.

With an indignant grunt, he stabbed a thumb at the upper button and held it as the door trundled upwards.
Once Alexia pulled the truck through the opening, he jabbed the lower button, paused to make sure the door would continue down after he released the button, then hurried to climb back into the truck.

"Alright, unless anyone would like to scan each tree for potential hidden sniper nymphs, I suggest we get our hoops out of here!"

"Wha... Sniper nymphs?" Ashe mumbled, her voice taking on slightly more strength as the question completely formed on her lips.
"RUN!" She attempted to yell in response to the sniper nymphs. Attempted, because her voice simply didn't have enough strength to come out at much greater volume than a glorified croak. After the obvious effort of warning the team off from the sniper nymphs, Ashe collapsed back in to the chair, and closed her eyes. While she had been holding a tenuous grasp on consciousness previously, that grasp seemed to have been extinguished by her warning.

Unless she knew something that the rest of the team didn't. Then her warning to "Run!" might mean something more. A magician, who enters a prescient state on the verge of unconsciousness? That doesn't actually seem so far fetched in this day and age.

Or not.

"Sniper Nymphs..." Specters delicate brow furrowed. "With the amount of elementals they're throwing around here, I wouldn't rule out anything. But Seig is right, we need to get going."

When Ashe stirred, Specter held her. "We're already on it Ashe. In here we're safer than we would be walking. Just keep your head down." She tried to sound reassuring and soothing. She could see the state the other elf woman was in. "Come on guys. Can't you see I've got my hands full? Open that damn gate and hit the pedal. Ashe needs some fresh coffee IV."

Ashe slumped against Specter's shoulder, what little life was left in her was retreating in to unconsciousness at this point. The healing she had done had clearly taken all that she had to give, and then some. Though she didn't appear to be on death's door yet, she clearly wasn't ready for another engagement. Which, for the team at the moment, was not ideal to say the least.
As soon as Seig jabbed at the "Up" button and the warehouse door started to open, Alexia nudged the truck forward, wincing slightly as the engine sputtered to a loud growl to inch forward. Seig (I presume?) ran back around to the back of the truck and jumped in, waiting just as impatiently as the rest of the group for the door to open all the way and for Alexia to peel out toward the streets.
"Uh oh, you guys are going to want to get out of there quickly. A distress call was just put out to the local police from the warehouse. They'll be there in a few minutes, at the most." Alexia said as the truck sped away from the still-opening warehouse door.
"I'm not sure who called it in though - it was one of those automated deals, though it could have just as easily been the person activating it. Or a commlink mimicking one of those automated calls." She added, giving a little more flavor to her previous message. If it was the Azzies, it was curious to think that they would call the authorities rather than clean up their own mess. If it wasn't the Azzies, then who was it?

"Right, we got what we came here folks. Time to go. We'll worry about the who and the what later. And knowing the Azzies they won't be taking this lightly so I expect to get some answers on just what the blazes we just did." Kesslan says over the comlink as he tries to hold on. To him there was also the matter of LT. Something was.. off about him though Kesslan wasn't quite sure at the moment what, but that could wait till later. First, and most importantly, was that they get out while the getting was theoretically good. "Anyone know a good quick stopping point? Need to make sure this thing doesn't have any tracking devices. Or better yet ditch it and salvage anything useful after getting Alexia's friend to a street doc."

"There is risk whatever we do," Seig replied, as he jounced in the truck's bed. "The way Alexia's friend was left to be found... like a 'treat' to lure in the flies... We should proceed on the assumption that our own truck has been compromised."

Having nothing constructive to add concerning street docs, or shaman healers for that matter, the dark elf kept his silence. Whatever could be done for the dwarf, if anything, would have to be done here. Seig didn't think the dwarf could survive the trip home without treatment.
He hoped someone had some idea of what to do. They had their 'package' but were far from being out of the woods yet...

There was nothing wrong with LT per say a little growling and roaring could of just been troll hopped up on combat high But as Kesslan assumed something was different about the troll...
