LT smiled he was one and O in barriers today he placed his right hand/claw on the door/entrance next to the loading dock bay door... Looking at the door LT looked for wires, and or something to indicate TRAP satisfied that he would be ok he urged everyone to give a little room just in case he was wrong when a wide birth was given he retracted his arm and then Struck out with the same arm against the door throwing his weight behind the blow!!!

Kesslan simply remained quiet for the most part, not noticing the issues Lt had been having simply due to a degree of focus on what he himself was concerned with at this very moment. As Ashe and Specter wandered in, he slowly and silently trotted his way over to check on the downed guard. That Ashe noted the guard was still alive was the main thing he was concerned about but the question had to be 'for how long' not to mention it was best not to just leave the slumped over guard out in plain sight. Simple restraints and dragging him out of view from the road should be enough however. It struck him then that he didn't have any cuffs though hopefully the guard would have some sort of restraints on him, otherwise he'd just have to ask the others to see if anyone had anything. He mentally berated himself but only briefly, for it wasn't like he'd taken too many people alive up to this point. Still, he understood metahumans responded a little better to knocking out their minions than flat out killing them, even if the difference was an entirely moot point to himself.

The door swung silently open at LT's touch. This obviously indicated three things:
1. It was well oiled, and regularly maintained.
2. It was well balanced, and of high quality construction.
3. It had been left unlatched by the last person to use it - and that had not likely been the guard.

LT Just inside loading bay:

Surprisingly little to no strength was needed to get through the door, well not all that surprising considering the circumstances, but LT rarely considered such things... A "hot head" he was not, but he was not a "brood over the situation" type either for some reason he felt a pull in that line of thought,"reasons not's a bad's idea's" never forgetting the mission. LT raised his Left arm which was gently waving his modified Super Mach 100 system In front of him, Some how his movements much more fluid, then say a bigger stronger troll would. More like a trained professional covering the room before him looking for anything, stop and go movements seeming to flow together as focused on different walls and area's....
He watched closely. For once... trying to asses the situation...

When Ashe dropped the act, Specter quickly pulled out the hood and put it on her head again, terminating the glow. "Now what? I suggest the invisibles go ahead..." She half whispered.

Astral perception. Int3+Perception1-LT in the way2=2d (2d6. hits(5)=0) ( I would say I had a critical glitch with two dice, one 1 and no hits.)

Her eyes widened. A scared whisper escaped her throat. "Oh no, they're back... they're back..." She had spoken Sperethiel. And quiet enough that maybe Ashe was barely able to hear it. But only barely.

She jumped up, looking around frantically, raising mana around her in an attempt to ripple and tear the connection spirits have towards Gaia and her soul. But there was... nothing. What trickery is this? She could see the fire elementals clear as day on the astral. Tall and blazing like a pyre existing to burn witches. "The elementals... they are back. Take cover... take cover. I can't banish them. Ashe, help me!" Specter subvocalized on the group channel.

The truck followed a path Viking was not familiar with, though it seemed like it was intentionally circuitous. After a while, the truck came to a stop, and everyone got out. It seemed like the truck had come to a stop in an alleyway somewhere. They "huddled up" for a few minutes, or maybe longer, time is strange in the astral. Then they headed to the corner of a building, and started to sneak. Viking hadn't been detected yet, so it was likely that the people in the truck weren't checking Astral. They hurried across a street, down an alley, then across a major street, then down another alley. Then they stopped at a barrier of some sort. From the Astral, it was hard to tell if it was a cement wall, or just a permanent chain-link fence. It just appeared to be a barrier. Physical, not magical. But either way, it was mostly impermeable, and had been there for a long time.
Viking floated up a bit higher to check out what was on the other side, and could see what appeared to be a very long building, surrounded by water on three sides (and of course, he and the guys from the truck were on the fourth side). After spending a few minutes doing something or other at the barrier, a door opened up in the barrier, and the group filed through. It was a small door, and the troll had to inch his way through. Viking couldn't see any other obvious living signatures.

Viking Summoned a watcher spirit, he knew he would stand no chance in a astral battle with a mage, he knew he could not do anything himself, but he knew who could - Jack. He and his spirits were a force to be reckoned with.
His attention turned to the small Crow spirit on his astral shoulder. "Go ask Jack to come here in the astral and lead the way. tell him this is the highest priority!"
Hoping the small creature would find his way to the island, Viking started to wait hidden behind a wall to mask his astral presence even further, while still keeping an eye on the door.

"What? They're back?" Ashe asked over the group channel, astonished. She rotated quickly, trying in vain to peer around LT, Kesslan, Siej and Specter. But there was nowhere for her to look through.
"Where? I can't see through..." Ashe asked over the group channel.

@Ghostmaker
Unlike outside, it is pitch black inside the warehouse. There is no active light source, except the poor backlighting that the street lights are providing you. It only takes you the barest of moments to realize that if there were an ambush, this is exactly where and how you would spring it. There are some static heat-signatures inside the room, but none of them is the right shape to be a metahuman. That would mean that if there was an ambush, they're wearing high-grade heat protection equipment, specifically made to hide them from Thermo-vision.
Other than the non-metahuman heat signatures that you see clearly, you can see your backlit shadows on the floor in front of you. You're a sitting duck, and an obvious target. Your internal "alarm bells" go off immediately.

@Kouryuu
Jack shows up in not long at all. The Spirit's ability to travel great distances at the speed of thought was certainly helpful.
"What do you need?" Jack asks, matter of fact and focusing on the warehouse as would turn out to be appropriate.

Using the guard's own restraints to tie him up, Kesslan strips the man of anything that might let him out of the restraints as well as his helmet and anything that might be a comlink. He isn't there to loot however so he simply smashes, pockets or throws away anything of use. In the end though he doesn't take too long in his search, simply long enough to make things a little more difficult. If the team here did it's job right then they would all be long gone before the guy had a chance to come to. If they weren't gone by then, odds were they'd have bigger concerns.

Once the guard was properly dealt with and hidden he trotted off to go join up with the others near the entrance to the warehouse proper. Of course, given he was trailing behind he'd have some catching up to do and to let the others know what was up he tossed up over the AR: Took care of the guard, hopefully he's not checking in on regular intervals but let's not count on it. he was alarmed by this mention of fire elementals being 'back' but then he was somewhat suspicious of what Specter was actually seeing. After the last stunt where none ever appeared he wasn't sure there wasn't something seriously wrong with the girl, but then he had also expected this whole thing to be an ambush so...maybe the threat was real. Just to be sure he started being a little extra paranoid in scanning his surroundings, checking out the physical and astral alike as he made his way over to the others.

LT Moved in quick but tentatively, there were many heat signatures none really peeked his interest tactically... It was hard to see in the pitch black night, let alone in poorly or unlit room... His instincts cried out to him "find a light switch!!!" But LT was understanding that some how his instincts took the form of rage filled mistrusting Dragon, LT also knew that would only be a trigger. If someone was for instance in here, they were waiting for just such an action from intruders. So being that LT had used thermo visual site all his life He kept his eyes peeled and his Gun arm up waiting for anything he could plug holes in...

He moved a little to the side to the let stealthy Siege, and the Keen Sensed Hunter Kesslen through. Specter was ranting about something she saw, and Ashe was into it to a degree, also Ashe could handle it as nothing volatile seemed to be happening. He settled on the original idea no need to change, and he could let the girls hash out whatever it was they were speaking of... Once before(Moments ago really) Specter had seen creatures, and LT was not about to say anything considering his own outburst over the last couple days... "Kess, Seiges Moves up i gots yous..." He said stepping to the side and raising his Gun arm, so that no one would pass the silenced mussel. The words were whispered into the sub-vocal though truth be told they were all close enough to hear him. This was done out of a need keep potential ambushers from understanding there plans... LT did not mind being bait, he kinda liked it, but this was no time to show off...

"What do you need?" Jack asks, matter of fact and focusing on the warehouse as was appropriate. He was asked to join expressly to recon the warehouse, and perhaps provide some backup.

"Good to see you, Jack!" Viking spoke up as the Astral figure Of Jack appeared. " I followed the group that ambushed us at the landing place here, up till now i had no way to notify Ashe or any others about it, and that is one thing i would like to ask you to do, also, as far as i know, you are the best summoner we have on the team, and astral combat you are comparable to Caper. We three - Me, you and Caper - what do you think could we take on the guys inside the warehouse together with spirits, we mages covering the astral while our spirits clean house in physical plane combat?" Deciding that he might need to talk to Ashe personally and explain why he is not at the plane, he called one more watcher into the real of the living. and sent it to Ashe explaining the situation, asking her permission for reconnaissance and possible attack on this warehouse. or if possible asking her to come for a brief moment here. " good lat's call up some more spirits to prepare for a assault. " he said half to himself half to the Astral figure next to him.

Kesslan could almost feel the hair raising along the back of his neck. He didn't like this, they knew something had been planned to go down here tonight, yet everything seemed so normal. Too normal perhaps. He cautiously saddled up alongside the door, peeking about the interior before slinging his rifle and moving through the doorway itself and going the opposite direction LT had gone to cover his back. He slowly scanned about, crouching down low, even looking up the racking in the event some one had decided to climb up there to hide. Racking wasn't perhaps always the safest thing to climb, but it wasn't particularly hard and would provide a decent high perch for a potential ambush. As quietly as he could, he moved to draw his pistols out, something far better suited to this environment than his sniper rifle, his form lightly rippling as the chameleon coating of his armour continued to adjust to his surroundings. "I'm here." he subvocalized to LT over the radio, uncertain if LT would be able to see him as his suit featured not only the ruthenium polymer coating but thermal dampening as well, and he wasn't sure what sort of vision mode LT might be using.

A Time for Secrets - Page 5 Empty
PostSubject: Re: A Time for Secrets   A Time for Secrets - Page 5 EmptyTue Feb 26, 2013 8:12 am

"Umm... It seems like Viking has been tracking the guys who were spying on us at the landing field. Now they're at some warehouse, and he's asking me permission to attack them." Ashe sub-vocalized to the team. She wasn't entirely sure what to make of the situation, since she'd thought he was with the Jet the whole time. Shaking her head, Ashe returned her attention to the Watcher and said "Tell him to observe but not attack." She said, unsure of his situation. If he attacked, and gave them something to chase, he could even further blow their cover. If, on the other hand, he noticed something useful, Ashe reasoned, he could help her and the team locate and neutralize the team watching her as a potential threat. Perhaps even find their bosses.
But her attention could only stay on that for a moment. As she was giving the watcher it's return instructions, Kesslan, Seig, and LT all moved stealthily through the door of the warehouse, bathing themselves in complete darkness, and leaving room for Specter and her to file in behind. - Time to head in... Ashe thought, turning her attention back to the task at hand.

Viking
"They're doing something..." Jack said, a water spirit appearing by his side. He rose up, looking at Viking as though asking what to do next.
Just as Viking was prepared to respond, his Watcher spirit re-appeared next to him.
"She said: "Tell him to observe but not attack"." The spirit reported before fading away, it's connection to this world no longer sufficiently powerful to sustain it's presence (if that wasn't otherwise true, it is now).
A quick look over the wall confirms that the metahumans who were previously congregated about the side of the warehouse had opened a door, and were filing in quickly. On the plus side, they were unlikely to be paying any attention to Viking at all.

And then the fun began...
Kesslan - 15 (4)
Ashe - 14 (4)
Ghostmaker - 13 (2)
Specter - 10 (1)
Viking - 7 (2)

A door on the far side of the warehouse opens, and the low-spread flashlight beams of barrel-mounted lights started flashing about the warehouse. Clearly, if there was not an ambush already in place, someone knew that the team was here, and were intent (if not prepared) on interception.
Kesslan: You're up first. The flashlights are obvious. To attempt to locate a target based on the flashlight source, you'll need a perception check:
- Astral: Perception (2) check (then apply the penalty for physical actions based on astral perception)
- Blind Fighting: Perception (2) check (you may locate them and "guess" where their body is, and shoot there - that's a Blind-Fighting shot)
- No Astral/Blind penalty: Perception (4) check
- You do not have to choose before your roll (except Astral/Physical, of course) - you may attack based on the results of your perception check.
- If you succeed in your perception check, please apply the partial-cover modifier to your shot (though you need not apply the moving target modifier)
As usual, if you take the free-action to perceive, it's at the -2 "distracted" penalty; if you use a simple action to "observe in detail" you may add the bonus as well. You do not need to choose ahead of time - so if the free-action perception check is insufficient, you can "continue to look, looking harder" so to speak, and use a simple action for the "observe in detail" action (you don't get the free action back though - so if you choose to observe, then observe in detail, you only have 1 simple and 0 free actions remaining).
As a reminder: your pistols are both already readied, so no draw action is necessary.
As a second reminder: if you choose to attack more than 1 opponent, you must announce it before your first attack roll (though I do not expect this to be an issue this round). And the -1 penalty for a new target, of course, would apply to the second attack roll(s).

As a side-note: Both you and Ghostmaker succeeded your Surprise checks (interestingly, Ashe did not...). So you two will post your "0th round" actions, I will moderate, and then we'll be at the top of the first round.

I think that covers it all...

"You mean this warehouse. Contact." Kesslan responds to Ashe over the comlink even as he ducked down, if he hadn't been spotted yet he might be able to sneak up on one or more of them even once the shooting started. Between the high end thermal dampening, the ruthenium polymer coating of his armour and his own skill at stealth he had good odds of getting the drop on at least one of them.

LT: Warehouse

Kesslan moved ahead into the room they had breached, Just then further down in the area, what he assumed were Hostiles, started filling into the room... They each were waving somethings with flashlights attached, He assumed they were rifles, and pistols either or. No matter he new they were not sticks with lights attached so that marked them as enemies... He squinted his eyes to get a better view, as he moved in quietly... His aim was to sneak well within short range of his modified Smart Automatics reach...

Perception test to get a better view of the enemy or choose targets: Intuition 3, perception 4, enhanced vision 2, Free Action -2 =

Stealth Test sneaking up on them going head on slow and low: Agility 6, Infiltration 4 = 9dice 6 hits is that like a crit or idk

LT had not been given the signal, but he had the opportunity They had not noticed his Massive Stature right within shooting distance... What with a spirit hiding his hoop, topped with his own suits Tech... He wondered what the frag Kess was waiting on...? Then it Occurred to him That no one had taken site of the Hunter/Shifter either... Moreover he knew the dangerous Cat had perfectly devious Flanking capability, and assumed then that he would take lead, and give him a distraction to make such an effort... Needing better view to make that happen LT opened his thermo graphic orbs wider but stopped his approach, so as not to startle the baddies...

Simple action Perception observing in detail: test to get a better view of the enemy or choose targets: Intuition 3, perception 4, enhanced vision 2, Thermographic vision +4, Actively Looking +3 = 4 hits

LT was not really there for blood but he did need to put some of these guys down, and take them out of the fight He also new the shifter was not fond of Murder most foul, but would not frown on self-defense or survival... LT however had live ammo in his Sub-Machine Gun... He whispered through the subV mic

Out Going message:

To: Team

On's me's...

End message: static

His motioned stopped LT positioned the arm holding the Modified Super Mach, and stood side ways so as to make himself a slimmer target, not by much, but it was something... He also stood Nearest the wall as he could, without banging into stuff, and braced himself as he was about to let loose...!!!

Kesslan - 15 (4)
Ashe - 14 (4)
Ghostmaker - 13 (2)
Specter - 10 (1)
Viking - 7 (2)

The enemies filed in to the building rather conspicuously. As they came in whatever door they were using, the fanned out, moving forward without hesitation. They stalked forward carefully, flashing their gun-mounted flashlights about the warehouse, clearly looking for the group, or possibly something else. Because they were covering more area with their flashlights by being spread out, they would likely find someone soon. If not, they would notice the open door that Ashe and Specter were standing just outside of. Either way, shortly they would know that the team was there, and if the team was their target, they would be attacking. If there was another reason to be here, it was unlikely a cooperative one...

Kesslan
Kesslan stalked along the wall carefully and slowly, keeping completely silent. In fact, he was so silent that even his animal hearing was unable to pick up the sound of his feet on the hard concrete floor - it was quite possibly the most stealthy he had ever been. As he moved along, he found that the rows of shelving were long and straight, and that he would have a clear shot at the enemy as they passed through the boxes and whatever else was being stored here in the warehouse. One such enemy was impressively obliging, entering the row Kesslan was looking down and stalking toward him. The enemy was waving his flashlight about, making sure that nothing would get a chance to stalk up on him, but Kesslan hugged the uneven boxes and other stored items, and remained undetected despite that the flashlight traveled over him twice.
Kesslan was not sure how many more times the flashlight could travel over him before the enemy would notice. While the chameleon suit worked wonders in even lighting conditions, be them light or dark, the presence of stark shadows often off-set the value of the suit, and Kesslan's experience told him that it was only a matter of time before the enemy would notice the shadow behind Kesslan. Kesslan kept his weapons at the ready and stalked forward, closing the distance on the opponent.
You're about 20 meters from the other guy. Your perception is sufficient to notice that another enemy is entering the row behind him, possibly to head in the other direction - you're not sure yet. Either way, you have 2 possible targets. The second target is approximately 30 meters from you.
As a reminder: You are not subject to the "Blind Fighting" penalty, as your perception checks were high enough. And your target will not have the benefit of cover or partial cover as of now. And again: your guns are out and ready.
A note: I rolled for your "Security Procedures" to determine that you do realize, as I mentioned above, that shadows are a potential issue with your suit.
Second note: Kesslan knows that he is being "Concealed" by the spirit - so it may occur to him (but that's not up to me) that the shadow will be less obvious as a result of the Spirit's assistance with his stealth.

With the approach of now not only one, but two enemy Kesslan momentarily debated switching to his sword. It would be even more quiet than the pistols with their integral silencers, but in the end he decided against it, there was just no telling how adept one of them might be in hand to hand combat and delaying too long could have some serious consequences. Instead he decided now was the time to act, but not without warning the others. "Two enemy approaching, multiple spotted. Engaging." he quietly subvocalized over the comlinks before bringing his pistols to bear, doing his best to line up his shots with each target. It would be riskier than focusing on just one but if he got lucky, he might have a chance at downing both, or at least injuring them before they had a chance to react.

It was obvious to LT When a move was made, postures change when gun shots go off, but before there could be any retaliation, LT made his move...

Complex action burst shot test: One bad guy Agility 5, Fire Arms 3, Smart Link 2 = 10 dice = 4 hits sweeeet!

LT laid down his fire, and moved up on the team he figured they would duck or get shot either or he need to close the distance give Kess time to get closer and engage them in melee well at least that was his plan... He knew plans rarely worked if he had the chance LT would Have to come up with back up plan...

Message to Kess team channel

"Niiiiiice's Movez... I Got yous!!"

End Message:

He was pleased some how when Kess had made his move he was the leader and in actuality the only reason LT had offered his plan of action "On's mes" was because he did not know what kess was doing he thought he had thought it out but he did not fully think out the situation kess did act and he should have waited LT was getting hotter as he fired and then started to moved up...

The clatter of gunfire pulled Ashe fully through the door and in to the pitch black warehouse. In the Astral, she could easily see the invading enemies; they were coming in hot, as Kesslan or LT might say. Looking around, Ashe also had only a minor difficulty picking out the Spirit summoned by Specter. Despite their glaringly obvious auras, however, Ashe had lost sight of both Kesslan and LT. And that's with LT's muzzle flashes to give him away!
"Keep shooting! If I can't see you, neither can they!" Ashe hissed in to her commlink. She stepped to the side of the door, trying to melt in to the shadows like she had seen Kesslan do so many times before. While she was not nearly as good at that as he was, she knew that the pitch-black room would aid in her stealth attempt.

Them
Ashe wasn't the only one who heard and responded to the distinct sounds of a burst-fire attack. As soon as LT let loose his finely directed stream of bullets, the invading force responded the way a well-trained group would. They cought cover first, established contact second, and looked for the attackers third. It was well coordinated, and well executed. There was a quick series of shouts, sounding like some foreign language (@Kesslan: Language test, Aztech) most likely to establish position and identity.
As soon as the shouts stopped, the flashlights returned to flashing around. This time, however, the attackers were stationary, and likely had some cover of their own. Perception Check 2 for a target already seen to identify any new cover. Kesslan: Perception check thresshold is only 1 for your 2 targets.

Viking

The group you have been watching has fully entered the door they were standing outside of. If they noticed you, they gave no indication at all. The door they were using was closed behind them.
You can: look for another way in, or press through the wall/door. If you're pressing through, the Astral Barrier Rating for the wall/door is 4 - so it's possible. You may interact with Jack directly; and he will follow any "commands" that you give him or the spirits, unless you tell him to do something stupid, of course.

"We are under orders to observe." Viking told Jack after the watcher disappeared.
In his mind he played with the idea to summon himself a stronger companion spirit and free the one who is concealing him, but he still felt the results of his last summoning, his body and his soul was still recovering and this might have to wait until there was bigger need for it, but for now he needs to follow Ashe's orders.

Jack would know what to do, Viking got out of his hiding-spot and imagined himself next to the warehouse. the very moment he was there and carefully pressed his hand against the wall to feel if the mana was flowing on the other side and judge how strong the barrier would be. In his mind it's always better to make sure before charging in head on.

PostSubject: Re: A Time for Secrets   A Time for Secrets - Page 5 EmptyThu Mar 21, 2013 2:57 pm

As soon as LT let loose with a burst, Seig headed for cover. Not in fear of being hit by friendly fire - LT was better than that - but in case of return fire from the flashlight-wielding goons. So far none of their opponents had so much as coughed, much less attacked in any way. It was a little spooky. If they were after the team, they moved as if they cared little about stealth. If they were after the same thing Seig and the others were...

Readying his H&K Urban Combat SMG, Seig let his awareness reach out to the mana and willed it to enhance his nerves and muscles; heightening his reflexes until his whole body seemed to thrum with the kinetic potential to act in multiple, explosive maneuvers.

Crouching beside the end of one of the racks, his entire form trembling from his adept power, Seig watched the darkness for the tell-tale sign of a flashlight beam. The proximity of his opponent would define his mode of attack; leaping to deliver a kick to the head, or a lethal burst from his submachine gun.

Peering Into the Dark

Seig could make out the flashlight beams but little else. Getting a good lock on a target would be nigh impossible. So he opted to just sit tight and let his enemy move itself into a better tactical position. Then the dark elf would unleash his pent-up kinetic energy in as violent a way as possible.

Subvocal to team: "I'm set. Can't get a target lock yet."

Though he could only make out random flashes of flashlight beams so far, Seig continued to peer into the darkness trying to get a bead on an actual target:
Observe in Detail: Intuition 4 + Visual Perception 5 + Actively Looking 3 + Vision Enhancement 3 - Full Dark 6 = 9 dice
3 hits

Infiltration
The team was now mostly inside the building. The opposing group had come in through a different door, perhaps to intercept this group, or perhaps for less obvious reasons. The team had reacted in the appropriately Shadowrun fashion: shoot first, ask questions later. Many a Shadowrunner had not made it through a run because they had failed to follow that cardinal rule. Of course, many a Shadowrunner had not survived the final meet with the Johnson because they followed that cardinal rule... A Shadowrunner has always to walk the fine line between survival and stupidity...

As soon as contact with the opposing group was made (Kesslan and LT both fired on them) the opposing group responded more like a military trained team, or a special police force team, than like a Shadowrunner team. Their training and group-tactics were top notch. They didn't fire any return shots. Instead, like a well trained team under fire, they first looked to understand the situation - they would respond afterwards. If they were there for a cooperative assignment, the team would soon know. If they were there to intercept, then the tactics the team was seeing now probably did not bode well for the team.
There was a series of shouting in some sort of foreign language (Kesslan has the translation). The only thing that seems obvious (though nothing is truly obvious on a Shadowrun, is that they haven't seen the team yet. But even that could be just a pretense as they formulate their plan; or wait for reinforcements. Presumably whatever was to happen next was just about to happen now...

@Jagger: Seij is up now. Your options: Your 3 perception allows you to shoot at a target with the "Blind Fighting" penalty. You may use your free action to try to get your 3 perception up to the 4 you need to "locate a target" and therefore not be subject to the "Blind Fighting" penalty. Remember, if you're shooting single-shot or burst fire, you get to shoot twice. And don't forget to factor in the recoil if you're firing burst, or on the second shot if your firing twice.

As a note to all: it is unlikely that any character would fire full-auto in this situation, even for "Suppression Fire." If someone wishes to do so, I will need a good RP reason for that. The Combat Monster and Vindictive negative qualities count as good reasons, provided the conditions of the traits are met. There can be other good reasons too, but you'll have to provide one. The same can be said for any other area-attack, including grenades, rockets, and other explosives. An obvious exception would, of course, be a flash-bang grenade.

Finding a Target
2 hits

With his SMG at the ready, Seig rose from his crouch and squeezed off a round of burst-fire at one of the flashlights. He used the narrow burst mode to increase the weapon's potential damage. The submachine gun jumped as three slugs left its muzzle. This should give him a better chance of scoring a hit than semiautomatic. He followed that with another round of burst-fire, though the H&K tried to rise in his grasp from the recoil.

1st Shot (critical glitch)
0 hits
2nd Shot (critical glitch)
0 hits

Seig's weapon jammed, the mechanism that fed a round into the firing chamber fouled up, and before he could react to free the jam his finger, already anticipating the second burst, pulled the trigger again. This time, however, instead of the firing mechanism jamming, as it was already fouled up, the weapon's magazine ejected on its own and clattered to the floor of the warehouse.

Out of available actions, Seig was caught immobile as his mind's eye showed him several, if not all, of the flashlight beams abruptly zeroing in on his position...

"Same team that hit us at the LZ." Kesslan subvocalizes over the team network as he quietly steps to the side before firing once more at the two before him while he slowly creeps forward. He knew they would spot him soon enough if only because of the muzzle flash that even the built in sliencers couldn't quite entirely hide when directly faced with it. But that didn't mean he couldn't keep shifting and try and buy himself some time thanks to the chameleon coating of his suit. Beyond that he was fairly certain that most in the warehouse wouldn't quite be able to pinpoint the pistols firing for a while. Even with the superior built in silencers there was still a slight 'cough' of the guns firing each time, but there wasn't the added click of the firing pins as the Colt 2066 had an electronic firing system instead. The electronic firing system also meant the gun used caseless rounds, which in turn meant there wasn't even the tinkle of shell casings to clatter on the ground or try and catch so they didn't make any noise. Indeed the sound of the bullets hitting probably made much more noise than anything else about him right now.

Calmly he lined up his shots once more, and after a brief moment of concentration where he did his best to call up his inner reflexes, fired a shot at each.

Free: Speak
Simple: Attribute Boost (Agility) 1 hit 2 combat turn duration Drain: 4 Hits, No Drain
Simple: Fire at 2 Targets - Fire Pistols (Pistol (semi Auto) 7 + Agility 8 (-2 on second target)
2 Hits - Fist Target
2 hits - Second Target

OOC Note: Not sure how far away they are, if he's close the fallen target may count as point blank which would add 2 dice to the roll. Otherwise dicepool remains the same due to astral sight (Physical would provide +2 from smartlink)

OOC: Sorry for the delay...

Ashe takes another few steps. The sound of her footfalls echo hollowly in the commlinks of the team - sounding strangely out of place among the *Rat*Tat*Tat* of SMGs firing and the foreign language shouts from the other team. OOC Perception Test, distracted, just perception+intuition, no other bonuses. Let's call this "bonus content". The team hears the tell-tale mumbling that Ashe sometimes (but not always) makes when she is casting a spell. Ashe takes a deep breath, and suddenly the darkness of the warehouse, slightly punctuated by the flashlights as they flashed about, is split by the brilliant glare of a lightning bolt. The protoplasm of the heat and air colliding lanced out of Ashe's cupped hands toward one of the opponents with such an astonishingly bright light that it was impossible to imagine anyone not seeing, or being effected by the light. Admittedly, the spell is not actually intended to be a flash-bang grenade. But in this circumstance, it certainly did it's best to imitate one!
Anyone without flare-comp: body+willpower resist, thresshold 2 or be temporarilly blinded
The unfortunate side effect of the lightning bolt, in this situation, was that if anyone was wondering where the mage was, well, they were wondering no more. Immediately, several shouts came from the "other side", and despite that they were in a foreign language, it was a fairly reasonable guess that they were shouting "Geek the mage!". Ashe was made, as it were. She had pointed a brilliantly powerful light-arrow directly at herself. And there was no possibility that she wasn't seen. Likely shots would follow.
The moans of pain that were coming from the unfortunate opponent on the other end of Ashe's flash of brilliant light went almost unnoticed as the pandemonium of battle began to ratchet up a notch.

The opponents hadn't had a target before.

But they most certainly did now.

Ghost: You're up. And you don't need a perception test to fire at Ashe's previous target - he was light up like a lightbulb when her lightning bolt connected. There's no hiding that. His moaning confirms that he's still alive - though he likely wishes he wasn't... As mentioned previously, you do need to renew your perception-test to fire on any other target, even ones you fired on previously. They all moved for cover.

Lil Tiamat: Shootout in the Warehouse

LT nailed someone Kess fired again, and again, Ashe steps out Lightening Bolt!!! He knew they would be on her after that one... So he Started his motion to fire as well! To give them two targets at least... He was heavily armored, and he was a Magically enhanced Troll! He could probably take more then she could. What even not considering the mojoh working his way he looked

Perception roll to see if i can find the guy got hit last time gonna shoot at him again... perception 4 intuition 3 7dice = 2hits

But did not see the one he hit go down, His flare compensation kicking in in like no time (in his contacts) bzzzz shhhh zip they were back! And he new the guy just got more comfortable with the first hit... So he shot him again... This time LT had picked the guy out, because he got hit with his first none focused burst, but did not go down LT felt his ire growing in him as he squeezed the trigger thinking "Oh words? Tuff Guy eh?"

Same Guy He hit before Narrow Burst Agility 5, Automatics 3, Smart link 2, Narrow Burst -2 8dice = 3hits

LT's Ire raged on, and he Fired again a narrow burst intent on taking this one out of the contest, and too once again draw the attention that was the Tanks Job...

Agility 5 Automatics 3 smartlink 2 edge 2 second narrow burst -5 = 7dice = 1hit
