She added cleverly hoping the elf would buy it, then Raén got into it with the guard, he was rude, and Catalina took that as her cue too move off with the other guard... to the weapons room... She later returned to the insult the bell boy after he suggested she did not have the money for a room...

Raén:
The Ork grunted as she began following the bell-hop to the elevator.

The elevator ride is rather uneventful. The lift's single button was a call button marked "emergency." The Bell-hop does not enter the elevator, and it stops after a few seconds and the doors slide open on a new floor where two more guards meet you. They escort you past several doors, some guarded, some not, before finally letting you into a room Guarded by an orc and an elf, both female.

Cat & Teckster:
The man is taken aback by Cat's reaction, but recovers quickly. I'm, sorry Mamm. I didn't mean to offend. I would be happy to escort you to our reservation desk after your meeting. Mr. James was very explicit that no one was to be late. He gestures to the elevator, If you will both please step inside?

Smoken D:
D watches as his drones and pistol are stored in a lock box. As soon as the wall space door closes, Smoken D looses the signal to the drones, indicating some pretty high-tech security.

All three:
The door opens and you are all individually greeted by a tall elven man in a gray business suit. Ah, greetings, he says to you. My name is Saint James. Please, join me. His hand indicates several synthleather executive chairs around a large synthoak meeting table, including a couple sized for larger people. Off to one side, there is a table with several pots of what smells like real coffee. Partake of the refreshments if you’d like, says Saint James, and when you’re ready, we’ll discuss business. As your eyes wander to the real coffee, you can’t help but notice the two burly bodyguards standing like statues in the corner of the room.

Catalina Elevator:

"Hi Techster!" Catalina assumed he was as happy to see her as she was to see him, so when the doors closed she hugged him close then let go "its good your here Saint James huh? You know we keep meeting like this and there gonna say were a team or something..." She giggled, and smiled. She straitens her outfit and moves to the front of the elevator When the doors open she steps out... And Moving to the doors she waits for them to be opened, moves in and smiles at the elf as she smells the coffee and he greets her looking over everything she could not help but notice the body guards, and she wondered how fast they were? They were awfully big. But she let the thought go, and sat down... Saint James was obviously not this elf's name but she had to admit it was better then say mr Johnson she sat where she thought he would sit or next to it to be correct also she was facing the Guards had to keep an eye on them... She relaxed she was her on business, and blowing the meeting was not part of the Job...

Teckster In elevator

After the nice hug from his team member he smiles and responds. Well there little killer it seems like we are here for the same meeting it should be fun. Teckster gives himself a stretch since his is still trying wake up fully since his long nights of programing have taken a bit of a toll on him.

When he enters the meeting room and gets the invite to really coffee he decides to take Saint James up on it. Teckster pores himself a coffee and starts downing it. Well lets see what the job offer is....

When Siona entered the room, she eyed the two bodyguards. Elves, it's a good feeling to deal with normal people at last. Soon after herself, her team mates came in. "Hello guys. Nice to see you again." She really was pleased. And it became apparent to her that, indeed, she had missed them a little. Not only did she smile at Teckster and Smoken D, but also at Catalina. Siona had decided to not be hurt anymore, at least until she got a chance to clear up the situation.


When the Johnson greeted her, Siona replied with a charming smile. "Thank you very much Mr. Saint James. You are too kind." With a side glance at the coffee pots, the mage added: "Please excuse me. I will need only a moment." Next she walked over to the coffee and poured herself a cup, added some cream, real as well as she noticed, and a bit of sugar. Siona inhaled the slightly bitter fragrance. This will bring me back to full attention. Then she carried the cup to the table and sat down.

While riding up the elevator he pulls a cigarette and tucks it in the corner of his mouth, leaving it unlit as he stuffs his hands back into his pockets and smiles. Everyone but Joker is here. Kind of hope he shows. Nodding his thanks to the bellhop he steps out of the elevator and the pompous elf.
Salutations and greetings Sir James. It is a rare pleasure to do business in such fine surroundings, thank you for that at least. He nods in appreciation towards the side table and the others already making inroads into the coffee. It is also a pleasure to see familiar faces at this meeting. He smiles at the others and looks for any ashtrays while going straight for the coffee. I must admit I'm not a real coffee fan but this smells too good to ignore. After several sips and a double dose of cream and plenty of sugar he sits down opposite KC and Raén, giving them a grin and a wink. Ladies, we should really stop meeting like this. People might start to wonder.

Once everyone has their coffee and other refreshments, Saint James begins the meeting. It appears that the others contacted about this have other plans this evening, he says with a slight twist to his mouth. He looks at the four in the room and shrugs. We work with the tools we have, yes? He takes a slow drink from the cup of coffee in his hand before continuing.

I have been contracted for a small demolishons opperation in Snohomish. I will provide you with the means of completing this task, but it is up to you to get it into place and ensure it's smooth operation. He walks to the head of the table and sits. This facility is an automated manufacturing site for one of the larger corporations here in Seattle, but don't worry, it isn't a one of the Triple-A's so there shouldn't be too much fallout from this. He looks slowly around the table gauging interest.

There are guards and they will need to be neutralized before the facility is destroyed to ensure success. This does not mean that they have to be killed, but they will need to be kept from interfering. He pauses again to sip his coffee. I am authorized to contract this opportunity out for the sum of 15,000 nuyen.

Teckster knows he is not the negotiator of the group so he leans against the wall sipping on his real coffee as he waits to see who is going to negotiate for the group. Well lets see if anyone wants to see if this is St. James's highest offer.

Killer Cat Hotel Moon Room:

KC listened to the Elf state his business. He was direct and curt at the same time... She listened She wondered why Joker did not show momentarily then was back on the subject at hand... She managed to tune out the don't need to kill the guards and got back to the meeting around 15,000 nuyen... But she was not authorized to do anything but accept the mission, so she thought she would allow the others probably Siona to hike up their interest...

Siona sipped her coffee, enjoying the flavor greatly. She could just as well have been sitting in a street café in Dublin. When she spoke, her accent would have fitted there perfectly as well: "That does sound awfully interesting sir." Blow things up. What fun is that? At least it might produce a nice seen.

Taking the moment to actually enjoy the coffee and listen, he watches the others as much as Saint James while he gives out the details. Frag me! From what she knew none of the girls had trained in there use... From what she knew at least... That clearly was not her job... But she could aid in the placing of the Devices, she was sure. And She agreed it was not necessary, well it would not be necessary if she had stick and shock ammo for the rifle, something she forgot to do again...

The money she was not sure if it had been enough for the job. But she was not Authorized to make Negotiations, she was however supposed to find out who ordered the run, If she could. Her tone had been none to disrespectful, it was more confusion she was going for... But cat was not the best actress... Just a little bewildered, and oblivious... So it worked for her, and she was confident that she had took at least some of the heat off Siona's head... She relaxed, and waited to be addressed... and or thrown out

St. James listed intently to Raén's questions before responding. Demolitions work is hardly ever discreet. And accidents are quite common in our line of work. However, if your attempt to gain access to the facility is , shall we say, too visible? If your attempt is too visible, then there is likely to be a greater risk to the success of your mission as all of the personnel on site will be on high alert, yes? More importantly, it would decrease your chances of getting away from the location without having to deal with either reinforcements or local intervention. While St. James's tone was still amicable, it had definitely taken on a pedagogical tone, as though he were giving a lecture in Covert Ops 101.

As I explained initially, I will provide you with the means to successfully complete the task. Yes the amount is for you to divide among yourselves. In my day teams shared expenses prior to collecting profit. I have found that this is the easiest way to promote cohesion and reduces my own work load. However, I do understand the need to prepare prior to taking on such a contract. I am willing to advance your group 25% of the contract. That should suffice, yes? Before he can respond to Smoken D's other point, KillerCat interrupts with, for all intents and purposes, what seems to be a verbal stream of consciousness.

St James's tiny smile makes another brief appearance at her little interruption. He is obviously amused by the groups antics so far. If I am correct in interpreting you, he says looking intently into Cat's eyes, you are asking the time frame, and for the identity of your client. While the first question is a legitimate concern, I would caution being quite so obvious about obtaining information on the second. Knowledge is power, but only when having it benefits your position. There are times when it puts you in danger as well. His gaze comes back to Smoken D, I am in the process of finding you an outside contractor to handle the actual devices. This contractor will not accompany you inside the facility until you have it secured.

St James looks around the table again. That being said, while, he looks at Cat, you are rumored to be quite a skilled combatant young lady, I was hoping that this contract would include more muscle. Unfortunately, that muscle did not attend the meeting. If you don't mind, I will continue to look for an additional member to join you in this venture. I highly suggest that you accept this offer, despite the fact that it will reduce your overall profits. He leans back slightly in his chair. Are you interested or not? There are, of course, more details forth coming, but I must insist that you either accept the offer or leave at this time before I continue.

Catalina was quite literately very impressed with the charismatic elf Though she understood now that they were no social match for this Business man she was amazed at how easily he navigated through the onslaught of questions and points being made... It was like a fire fight but he made it so comfortable even when he warned her...

And she forgot what she was gonna say and she blushed leaning back in her chair but with no coffee of her own to hide it she simply just stopped talking except for the mumbling words "NOoooo i mean i get by, I know my way around a rifle..." She just assumed the muscle that did not show was Joker whome probably took a bigger job instead of hanging with the gang "Jerk..."

Fraggin charming slot. He thinks as he watches Saint James charm the ladies, not entirely pleased with it even as he finds himself wanting to like the dandy. So with another runner we'd be splitting it 3K before gear, assuming the demo person is being paid separate. If this run is as simple as you imply, I'm good with another runner and the job. He looks over at Teckster. What do you think?

Saint James nods as he replies to Smoken D's implied question. Indeed, my outside demolitions contractor will be paid separately. This is as much because he will likely not be assisting you in your securing of the facility as it is that his skills are highly specialized and he requires a premium fee.

While he doesn't answer KillerCat's immediate question, he projects the impression that it is only because the crew has not solidified the contract.

As Teckster leans against the back wall he takes in all the negotiations with a small smile. Well this guy seems a bit more talkative then our last boss. As teckster finishes his cup of coffee Smoken D asks him what he thinks. Well this seems like a fun job to do and the money could help me out alot. The thing is on the drive over here I got a call from a family member out on the east coast seems then need me to help them out. I was going to try and call St James about or not show up, but I thought you should know the reason I couldn't join you on this run. Teckster walks over to the table puts down his coffee cup. Well thanks for the job offer and coffee but family comes first with me and the problem then have needs my help. With that said he starts to head for the door. Unless anyone stops him to talk he heads out so the rest of the meeting can continue. At the last moment he will add It was fun guys see you around.

Saint James speaks as Teckster crosses the room the the door, Perfectly understandable. Some priorities always outweigh others. I appreciate you neither wasting our time, nor vanishing without word.

After Teckster says his peace and leaves Saint James speaks again. It appears I'll need to locate another technical guru. I'll make some inquiries on your behalf, but their payment will have to come from your fee. Having received consent from Smoken D, and what he assumed was Cat's assent, he turns to Raén. I believe that only leaves you, my Lady. Are you interested?

Killer Cat Moon room:

KC runs off after Techster "Hey Techy wait up..." She has a Genuine look of concern for him on her face, and an out stretched arm... She looks back at St. J, and says "I'm in" Then turns back to Techster as St. J. starts to talk to Raen...

She catches up to him... Sort of stands in his way, but not offensively, or to block his path... But to see his face... When she speaks concern covers her voice in its low tone... "Tech you bailing? I mean if you leave, who will forget to stop the cameras from recording we kinda need you on this, the place is Automated you know you want a piece of that... Right?" She looks for response before saying "Is this a now thing, you need a sniper...?" She new she had a mission to do, and it would be out of the question, but She was also Told to get to know the runners really make friends... Orders or not Techster had helped name her this meant something... And with joker gone, she could not help but feel abandon by him... But he did say it was important... She figured it was worth noting... And she really was looking towards working with him again. She looked back at the others then back to Techster hugging him "Take care ok..."

"I'm in." Her eyes followed Teckster. "Take care. Will you?" She said oddly melancholic. Family. Yes it's important. Always important. But why did they have to send me so far away?

The coffee was good. She emptied her cup. "So, what are we going to blow up?" She sat on the edge of her seat now. Another run. Wonderful. Better than any party!

With KC stepping in front of Teckster he decides to give some more info before he leaves. He waves at Teckster and turns back to the table and sits down, working hard to get his mind back on the run at hand. Sorry about that Mr. James, Raén. That was not anticipated. He says softly as he finally lights the cigarette that's been dangling from the side of his mouth this whole time.

Saint James waits quietly as the door shuts behind Teckster. A few moments later one of the guards in the corner shifts his head ever so slightly before Saint James speaks.

Well, down to business then. An AR display* activates above the table. It is a map of Seattle. Snohomish is outlined in purple and a red dot is glowing in the North-West portion of the area. Somewhere between highway 9 and 2. It's obviously a very rural area from the outlines of farm land. The image quickly zooms in to the red dot, its glow fading to nothing as the visual is quickly replaced by a series of distant shots of a fenced, compound.

You will be hitting a DocWagon drug manufacturing plant. It is fully automated, but has several technicians who repair and maintain the systems and double as guards. Production needs to be completely shut down, so our client is requesting the entire facility be demolished. A blurry satellite image of what is obviously the compound replaces the clearer, yet still-too distant to be much help photographs.

Despite the lack of image clarity, an obvious external building can be seen by the fence where the road leads up to the compound. The compound seems to be one large yard with a single drive leading from the external building to the single main building in the center. There appear to be no gates or obvious openings in the fence from the pictures.

The satellite image pulls back out, giving a better view of the surrounding countryside. As you can see, the area is rather rural. Lone Star still holds the contract for the region, but their estimated response time is no less than ten minutes. Unfortunately, the facility has air defense pods on site, so an aerial strike is not recommended. While a terran approach is slower, it is more likely to succeed.

You can expect at least four to six armed guards, although there could be more we are unaware of. So far, there have been no signs of Magical support and their armament is unknown. And, as I said earlier, these personnel do not have to be killed, they must simply be removed. He looks at the three around the table, Reprisal is expected to be low, unless the contract is handled unprofessionally. His tone leaves no doubt that he expects nothing less from the group.

The job has a hard deadline of 48 hours from... He looks at the watch on his wrist.... waiting... waiting... Now.** He looks back up. However, if it is completed within the next 24 hours, there will be a significant bonus of 8,000 nuyen. Any questions?

* Anyone that doesn't have active AR eyegear/ware cannot see the display

Killer Cat:

After getting back in her seat, and with everything all out on the table, and the Data from a Sat hook up in AR KC decided it best to have all the information on the place with them, for Plans and analysis for the mission "Hey umm? do you think I could get that data, you know so we could make us a plan of action, and what not...? I mean if we're going to bring this sucker down, were gonna need to know, like I don't know Structure stuff right.? Like so it goes down nice proper..." She looked around the table once to make sure she was on point, hoping the team would at least nod the need for the data on this building, and anything else he had that would help... That is if he had it to give...
