The Way Of the Adept

Ok I just got This... When did it come out? I have a warrior way adept and a number of others... I did not have access to this before, kinda funky, cause what do you do now that you've been playing with a character and they have something new, that should have been on the table in the first place. Not criticizing. Just saying i would have spent the karma or bp, and or choose a different way for all my Adepts... How does a player say hey i did not have a chance to pick this can i buy it i guess would work maybe

Some GM's are okay with that if there has been a significant break in action. Or if you use karma to buy it and work the skill/quality into the story.
