...And High Water OOC

This is the OOC section for the Campaign '...And High Water'

Ok, so Hannah is a renegade Voodoo mage from Louisiana. She's something of a hedonist, but that comes from having the Seductress as your mentor spirit. She's low on the direct damage spells (Manabolt's her only one), but heavy on the Illusion and Manipulation spells. She does have Heal and Improve Reflexes, though.

Typical tactics include casting and sustaining Mass Agony and Orgy. She's got a shadow spirit (succubus), a guardian spirit, and a guidance spirit bound to her. And that should tell you a little about where she's at in the head.

thanks for the added info on your character Mirikon. Mirikon and Marlexis can post into the main section if you would like to, i'll wait till friday for t-hawk and the other player, i'll consider adding an NPC to fill any neccessary gaps in the team.

also keep in mind that Wreck found a neat little rule in page 85 of SR4 core book, you can have a focus as long as you pay for it and pay 1 bp/ point of force, it's a bit expensive, but it is the actual rules, so you have between now and friday to post up and modify your characters.

Yep, and you can only have up to your Magic in force levels total for bound foci at chargen, I believe. But I don't have the money to buy the foci, much less the bp to bind them. Magicians (especially summoners) bleed bp like crazy.

I'll use orange for norsk, olive for norwegian,, and indigo for her thoughts. English will be in white.

Hey all! Glad to get in on my first game. Only fitting my first character here should also be relatively new to Shadow life.

Languages.. I guess I'll go with White for English, Brown for Russian, Green for Japanese, Cyan for Spanish, and Dark Blue for Or'Zet

I'll use dark red for English, Blue for French, Green for Japanese, Brown for Spanish, and Olive for Chinese.

I'm not so sure that Hannah is going to go along with this cult after this mission. The job pays very nicely, but she's not the type to go along with what she views as a cult. She only cares about herself, afterall.

As for the item we get, can I have a Force 4 Power Focus (Availability 20). Obviously I won't be able to do anything with it until I get the Karma to bind it. But that would definitely come in handy. Either that, or making my monofilament whip into a Force 4 Weapon Focus.

a force 4 weapon focus, that is already bound to you, i think that could be fairly easily arranged. And anyone else who gets a gun or weapon of that sort, said weapon gets 3 full clips/magazines of regular ammo.

Aye, if the only restriction is 20 F availability, I'll be picking out a Rating 4 Power Focus as well. Just to make sure I read it right, did you say 'Already bound to you'? Really?

remember your choices are very important here, so choose wisely. Yes all the Foci will be bound to you so we don't have to wait around for that, and yes i'm giving any and all other gear as well, from all of the other books as well.

• mirikon with either a force 4 weapon focus/monofilament whip, or a force 4 power foucs

On one hand, I'm dancing in my chair.

On the other, I can't help but think, "If he gives us these foci without batting an eye.. we're so about to get tossed into the grinder."

okay so i'm giving out 2 power Foci level 4, already bound to thier characters, anything else, Jimb011, Stubbspks, or t-hawk?

I'm thinking some sort of SICK vehicle or possibly a gun, but I haven't found any guns worth it :-P

well coming from my opinion, and from reading arsenal way too many times, you could get a handgun with an underbarrel grenade launcher; a rifle with an underbarrel flamethrower, a full automatic shotgun with am underbarrel battle axe. armor of the gods, a grenade launcher with an underbarrel grenade launcher. You would be surprised what you can do when i give Carte Blanche to give NEARLY ANYTHING in the entire shadowrun universe.

as a matter of fact, yes you can, and you have 5 more slots for that gun to fill, if you wanted to.

sorry folks about that wait, i normally get between 1 and 5 posts daily, but the last few days have been hell in a handbasket in my restaurant, so i'll finish this post, make sure you all have your new gear, and we can keep it going. Keep your heads down in the deep shadows folks.

and here is the mystical magical map, red is unexplored areas, green dots are the old team, the heavy black line is a 1/2 meter thick steel door. for scale, the middle section is roughly 5 meters across. yes the building is huge. it is basically an indoor storage unit center, if anyone has seen one before that is. the chapel in and of itself is your basic Catholic church looking structure, four walls with a stage at the back, two doors, and a huge wide open space, roughly 15 meters wide and 25 meters deep.
