Introductions

Hiya. Pbp newb here although I have played Shadowrun 3rd ed before. I've been wanting to get back into the game but it's hard to find a Shadowrun game where I'm at, so I figured that I'll just use the net for my gaming fix. I've got a few 4th ed books and I've read through them so I think I'm sort of familiar with the rules, although I'll definitely need some time to get used to the new rules.

I tend to play jack of all trades characters...not very useful for most games but it's my favoured style and I hope people will bear with that. Also hoping that I'll be able to make a PC and get into a game soon.

And...that's about it, I guess...feel free to pop a few more questions if you like and I'll try to answer them while I browse the forums, learning about pbp.

a jack of trades character isn't all bad, it just means that you can fill any roll and support existing roles. For instance i know we need a face, a hacker, and a mage in A time For Secrets, i believe time is still available to submit a character for it, just talk to the GM.

Out of curiousity, where is the game located in? Is there one main city that the board is located in? Or does it vary based on the GM running?

it varies from run to run, i've been in runs from denver to seattle to chicago, to a new coming out in which we will be starting in hong kong.
