Well, I know I'm a sammy, and I think Ghost is an adept. Do we have a hacker and a mage? And what about a face, for that matter?

yup I'm an adapt, and your right do we have a face or a mage these things are important lol

my guy has intimidation for faceness, but thats about it.

well you should hope that a Face and a mage join in this gambe becasue it could get more dificult than it would be otherwise without them, a hacker would be nice on this however not realy all that neccisary

Yhea I set up my char as a combat adept too. Decent charisma but no actual social skills. If we don't pick up a face I don't mind expanding into the role.

My guy has a CHA of 2, but he's got a bit of Etiquette, and Intimidation. Dice pool for Etiquette is 6(8 Corporate) and for Intimidate is 9.

If no one else joins, I could run a mage or a hacker as a second char, but I've never been much good at the face role.

note for yallm that i will probably edit my post in game later, or i might just leave it like it is now and add another post later, i dont know im a bit intoxicated at the time that i wrote the ingame post and the time that i am spending writing this so i cant think,... no its more like i realy dont want to mess with it at the moment hehehe

BTW Ghost, if you were not aware of it already, due to the fact that I dont have masking the fact that Kess isnt human is readily apparent when looking at him with astral sight. Doesnt take the slightest bit beyond that to notice that this astral form is that of a jaguar and not that of a human.

By default people/things look like what they actually are, just in aura form basically. The best comparison I could probably make is the various predator vision modes for thermal optics etc. Objects and inanimate things only sort of show up lightly in the background. By default everyone/everything else (Spirits, people, animals) etc all look like what they actually are unless they happen to both be awakened, and have the masking metamagic technique.

This is why my own PC shows up as his 'true form' in the astral plane, at least untill such a time as I can get enough karma to initiate for the first time.

Take a look at my sheet and you'll see what my aura is lol. Thanks for the info needed to know that. My character must get his aura from his dad lol we both need to initiate and fast. lol

However i would like to point out Ghost your cahractor is only able to see into the Astral Plain so though wou would beable to see there true forms you wouldt be able to dicern anyhing from it becaseu you do not have the Asensing skill

More or less.

I mean in the 'real world' Kesslan looks more or less perfectly human. I mean beyond having a fairly dark skinned complexion there is the matter of his eyes. But on the astral side he doesn't look remotely human. That much is blatantly obvious.

Beyond that however yeah, you need the proper skill, and if I recall correctly, you cannot default on it like you can most skills. I could however be wrong about that and I'll have to double check the rule book when I get home.

Hiya. Hope you all don't mind a mystic adept in the group. She can do some face stuff and a bit of spellcasting though she can't do spirit stuff or any astral-ling either.
