Born one of many, many ork children, Ria was abandoned on the steps of a child services office. After being entered into the system, she found herself strangely isolated. It was clear as to her heritage at the age of nine, when she entered puberty earlier than most. She packed on a decent amount of pounds, and her features goblinized to a degree. As most of the other occupants were human, this did not exactly go over too well. Fights broke out frequently between herself and the other children at the homes, or with others on the streets who didn't take to kindly to her. Her talents in unarmed combat were exemplary, and with training from a fellow ork (an ex-soldier for the UCAS, no less) she was able to hone her talents to a rather efficient level. She got a thrill from the fights after a time, and she wished to do nothing more than be a shadowrunner and live her (comparably shorter) life to the fullest. Yet there remained a problem: her SIN, and all the systems she was registered in.

At age thirtten, the Crash provided her with the opportunity and anonymity that she needed to finally break into shadowrunning. She was young, yet as an ork, this was acceptable, and it wasn't long before she was making more of a name for herself. By age fifteen, she was a seasoned professional; she knew the job, what it entailed, and did it with a proficiency unrivaled by the masses. About this time, she met Kiyoko, her girlfriend of three, working on four, years. Ria worked in the shadows, and Kiyoko worked a legitimate, corporate job. One and a half years passed, and Ria found herself an opportunity like none other...

Now, she has a legit SIN through her organization, has a beautiful home, a nice car, a wonderful girlfriend (who might as well be considered her wife at this point), and best of all... a cause. She lives for two things in this world nowadays: Kiyoko and her cause, and the gods help you if you ever, ever get in the way of this particular professional semi-sociopathic runner.
