Hey guys, http here! I've been poring over the rules for Shadowrun 4e for months now and am excited for a chance to play. I live in an underpopulated area so it's hard to find form a gaming group. Many rural teens scoff at the idea of an RPG (they'd rather go frog-gigging, and good for them, I guess) so I'm reaching out to the vast community of the interwebs to engage in some co-operative storytelling and loot grabbing!

Welcome Http. Umm: how do we capitalize your name? Should just the "H" be capital, like most names, or should it all be capital? Or none? I hate to admit it, but this seems to just be one of those names...


Anyway, back to the Welcome. You've come to the right place! Online PBP gaming here at SRO has a small but steady community, keeping the game alive and usually interesting. Or perhaps I should reverse those: This small community keeps the game interesting, and usually alive.

Ha ha! It doesn't really matter how you choose to capitalize it. Just as long as those four letters are in a line, I'll know who you're talking to. And, when in doubt, you can always check my avatar.

I'm already interested in what I've seen from the community's writing and attendance (barring some exceptions, which are to be expected). Sometimes the larger communities like the main Shadowrun forums can be a bit, well...scatterbrained? Hoping some new games open up or some spots open. Or who knows? Maybe one of these old games will be revived? One can always dream.
